Token launch

Launch a token on a bonding curve.

One transaction mints a fixed supply and opens a constant-product curve priced in VTRS. When the curve raises its threshold, the remaining supply and the VTRS are seeded into a locked DEX pool.

On Devnet, not on mainnet yet: for the 4 of 9 launches created since launch treasuries began, 25% of every curve fee, and 20 of the 30 bps on a graduated pool, is staked for that token; its yield buys the token back and burns it. So far 9.08 VTRS has gone to treasuries, and 1,970 burns have removed 2,648 TRSL and 96.42 GRAD. How it works →

How it works

Mint, trade the curve, graduate.

Step 1

One call mints the supply

create_launch registers the asset, mints the full fixed supply into an escrow the pallet controls, and opens trading. The terms in force at that moment are snapshotted into the launch and never change.

Step 2

Constant-product curve in VTRS

Buys and sells price against virtual reserves, so the first token has a real price and the last is a fixed multiple of it. A fee on every trade is split between the treasury and the creator.

Step 3

Graduation seeds a locked pool

When the curve has raised its threshold, the reserved supply and the raised VTRS are deposited into a CoreXus DEX pool whose LP position is locked forever. Trading continues there.
