What is Vitreus?

Vitreus is a Substrate chain where staking produces the gas token. Stakers earn energy, transactions spend it as VNRG, and the chain sets its price in VTRS every session. Two tokens: VTRS for staking, governance and trading; VNRG for fees.

VTRS Token

The governance and trading token of Vitreus

  • Powers all DEX pools
  • Used for VIP staking
  • Governance voting
  • Earned through energy generation

VNRG Token

The gas token — minted by staking, priced by the chain, not a fee auction

The loop

Stake VTRS→Earn energy→Spend it as gas→or sell it to the broker for VTRS→Stake again↻

How Swapping Works

1

Connect a wallet extension

polkadot.js, Talisman or SubWallet with an Ethereum-type account

2

Select tokens

Choose which tokens to swap and enter an amount

3

Confirm swap

Review the price, approve the transaction, done

No bridges needed — VTRS trades natively on Chain ID 1943

Price impact — Large trades relative to pool size will move the price. The UI shows estimated impact before you confirm.

Understanding Fees

Where do fees go?

The pool — its LPs — all of the fee, minus the routed slice below; it stays in the reserves
Protocol treasury — a governance-set slice of the trade, paid in VTRS; the bound is the pool's own tier, not a flat figure, and each pool's page shows its split
Token creator — the same kind of slice, for pools seeded by a launch
The launch token's treasury — on chains carrying pallet-launch-treasury: staked with validators, and what the yield buys back is burned

On the launch curve, before a token graduates, the fee is split between the creator, the protocol and the token's treasury. Nothing is burned on an ordinary pool and no fee goes to stakers there; a launch token is the exception — its treasury slice is staked and the buyback it funds is burned. The Treasury page shows what has actually been staked and burned.

The tier is fixed per pool when governance creates it. Real yield — no token printing; every LP return is a fee someone paid to trade.

Earning

LP Yield

Provide liquidity to a pool and its swap fees accrue to your share of the reserves.

  • Your position is yours to withdraw unless you lock it; only a launch's seed liquidity is locked forever
  • Risk: impermanent loss if token prices diverge significantly from when you deposited

How CoreXus DEX Works

AMM Pallet

A native Substrate pallet, not a Solidity fork: constant-product pools, U256 math, per-position LP locks, fees kept in the pool.

Solver Marketplace

Intents are escrowed and filled by bonded solvers; a missed settlement is slashed, an expired intent is refundable by anyone.

Launchpad

Fixed-supply tokens sold on a VTRS bonding curve that seeds a permanently locked pool when it completes.
